About Our Family

Our Genealogy is stated from the deceased Sri Karimbanakkal Kunhiraman Nair, who was died in 1939. In 1898, three leading Nair Families in Manathana - Koodathil, Cheriyath and Pazhathittayil has adopted Ammalu, Paru, Narayani and Parvathi the beloved daughters of Smt Kunhineswar and Sri Kunhunni Nair Who is from Kanhimadam Nair family of Varavoor, Mullurkara in Trisshur Dist., Kerala. The second daughter of Smt Kunhineswar and Sri Kunhunni Nair, Paru, has adopted to Cheriyath family and has married to Sri Karimbanakkal Kunhiraman Nair. They have five children Devaki, Kalyani, Govindan, Meenakshi and Parvathi. Devaki has married to Sri Puthanveetil Padmanabhan Nair, Kalyani to Sri Villipalan Achutha Kurup, Meenakshi to Sri Raman Adiyodi. Parvathi has died soon after her marriage. The first Karanavar of Cheriyath family is Sri Govindan Nair who later married Thittayil Devaki Amma. Sri Govindan Nair was Succeeded by Sri Narayan Nair and the current Karanavar of the family is Sri Raman Nair.
